Job Description:
As a senior tax professional, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of taxation for subsidiary companies across multiple countries. This includes working closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure compliance with tax filing and payment obligations.
You will also be responsible for providing audit defense support and maintaining excellent relationships with local and shared services finance teams. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation and review of Research and Development tax credit claims.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative developments and ensure implications are addressed appropriately
* Ensure accurate and timely quarterly US GAAP tax reporting for allocated countries
Other key responsibilities include:
* Assisting more senior members of the tax team with ad-hoc tax projects
* Ensuring compliance with local transfer pricing regulations within the framework of ICON's overall business model
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant and AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) with an excellent academic background
* Commercially focused problem solver with a strong technical background and extensive experience advising international companies across a range of tax heads
* Broad international corporate tax and VAT experience an advantage
