Production Manager / Production SupervisorWe are seeking an experienced Production Manager / Supervisor to lead day-to-day production activities within a regulated aviation manufacturing environment. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of products in line with agreed operational, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The position will also support engineering and continuous improvement activities. Days role- Mon- FriProduction Manager / Production SupervisorLead and manage day-to-day production activities to ensure delivery of products in line with safety, quality, cost, and delivery targetsProvide leadership, direction, and support to production teams to ensure effective workforce capability and performanceDevelop, coach, and motivate teams to maintain appropriate skill levels and resource coverageDeliver agreed key performance indicators including labour efficiency, cost control, process times, and productivityDrive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with organisational goalsApply and sustain Lean manufacturing principles including visual management, 6S, and TPMPromote a culture of employee engagement, accountability, and continuous improvementEnsure effective communication of goals, standards, and performance within the production areaMaintain strong adherence to quality and regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with approved data and proceduresEnsure timely identification, management, and closure of non-conformancesWork closely with Engineering and Quality teams to identify, implement, and sustain improvement programmesSupport engineering activities including new product introduction, process development, and technology implementationAssist with process definition, trials, validation, and technical problem resolution as requiredProvide technical and operational support to cross-functional teams where necessaryAct as a key point of contact for facility-related matters within the production areaCoordinate facility maintenance activities and support environmental, health, and safety requirementsEnsure compliance with company standards, policies, procedures, and health and safety obligationsSupport and lead process improvement and operational excellence activities as requiredUndertake additional duties as required to support operational objectives.Person SpecificationRelevant third-level qualification; engineering or technical discipline preferredMinimum of five years experience in a production leadership or supervisory roleProven ability to lead and develop teams within a regulated manufacturing environmentStrong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skillsSolid knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAdaptable, open-minded, and comfortable working in a changing environmentResults-driven with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
