We are presently recruiting an Accounts Administrator for a busy Accountancy practice in Tralee, County Kerry. Supporting the practice accountants, you will be first point of contact with the practice clients and will offer support in VAT returns and payroll along with assisting in financial records, perform reconciliations and ensuring client compliance. This is a full-time position, based in Office in Tralee, County Kerry.
Job Specification:
* Support senior accountants with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and accounts preparation
* Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
* Process invoices, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements
* Communicate with clients regarding queries and required documentation
* Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and internal procedures
* Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
* Prepare and submit payroll information as required
* Liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders in a professional manner
* Maintain confidentiality and data accuracy at all times
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills essential
Qualifications and experience:
* Prior experience in a practice environment is essential
* CPA/ACCA/ACA/AAT qualified or working towards a relevant accounting qualification
* Ability to use Microsoft productivity software such as Excel and Word
