CNC Machine Operator - Immediate Start
Location: Co. Clare
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (39 hours per week)
Annual Leave: 20 Days (6 Christmas, 4 August, 10 Flexible)
Gi Group Ireland are delighted to be recruiting an experienced CNC Operator for an immediate start with our client in Co. Clare.
Our client is an industry-renowned specialist in the West of Ireland, a family-run business with a strong reputation in bespoke cabinet and furniture fabrication. This is an excellent opportunity to join a skilled and dedicated team in a hands‑on, rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.
* Collaborate with engineers and production teams to optimise processes.
What You’ll Bring
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* CNC experience working with stone is an advantage (but not essential).
* The role is labour-intensive, so experience in a similar environment is desired.
* Strong knowledge of CAD and CAM software is essential (Taglio and iCAM are a distinct advantage).
* Experience with INTERMAC machines is preferred but not required.
* A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
* CNC experience in Plastic, Metal, Wood, or Glass will also be considered.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
