My client are a long established engineering company that supply engineering services ( design, manufacture and install ) to large multinational clients from data centres to food and beverage. With plans to double in size in the next few marketing and new business development will be at the forefront of this expansion so they are now looking to appoint a senior sales managerwith engineering and / or contracting industry experience to spearhead their future success. Reporting to the Strategic Development Director, this person will take responsibility for leading and developing the sales and marketing team in Ireland and the rest of world ensuring that the Company sales, brand and revenue targets are achieved and exceeded. The Role Responsible for driving growth by identifying and targeting potential new business opportunities and securing contracts through existing and new customers. Work closely with our customers to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and build relationships that contribute to our customers success. Manage the sales by setting sales goals, creating sales plans, forecasting, analysing data and sales results. Manage, co-ordinate and prepare sales proposals and tender responses, ensuring pricing is built on an accurate cost structure. Liaise with the engineering, finance and production departments to ensure accurate and timely submission of bids and smooth transition of projects up to contract award stage. Develop and deliver the sales and marketing strategy for the business. The Successful Candidate With broad experience gained from a sales and or marketing role, you will be able to demonstrate a progressive sales career coupled with experience of developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies. A strong background and experience in Engineering and Contracting industries in Ireland and internationally is required and experience in food / beverage / pharma / data centres will be a distinct advantage. Possess an existing and well-established network of relevant industry contacts in Ireland and internationally.
