Senior Project Manager

Realtime recruitment are seeking a Senior Project Manager for a permanent position in Dublin city Centre. The Senior IT Project Manager will assume responsibility for overseeing the successful delivery of IT and Infrastructure projects, including Cloud-based initiatives. This role entails managing large-scale system integration programs from start to finish, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines, and maintaining open communication with all stakeholders. Additionally, the position involves end-to-end management of major IT integration and upgrade projects
Responsibilities and Duties
* Lead the planning and execution of programs and projects, ensuring on-budget and on-schedule delivery without compromising quality.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including all phases from planning and analysis to execution, service transition, and closure.
* Develop comprehensive project and program plans, defining project scope, goals, tasks, resources, and deliverables.
* Clearly identify and document project scopes, providing transparent information on any scope changes and their impact on time, cost, and risk.
* Control project scope and change management processes.
* Assume ownership of project governance, regularly reporting project status and progress to the Steering Committee and IT PMO to prioritize customer interests.
* Oversee the transition of infrastructure and systems changes, ensuring smooth handover from project delivery to operational support across the organization.
* Monitor and control the project budget throughout its lifecycle.
* Define key performance indicators (KPIs) during the initiation and planning stages to track successful project delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5+ years of experience in a senior IT project or program manager role.
* Project management qualification such as PMP, Scrum Master Certification, or Prince2.
* Demonstrated track record of managing multiple IT projects concurrently, encompassing cloud and on-premise infrastructure, integration with third-party platforms, and upgrades to existing systems.
* Proficient in overseeing large-scale, high-impact project rollouts across multiple locations and diverse end-user expertise, while coordinating with various third parties.
* Experience in transitioning new and updated services to support teams within IT and across the organization.
* Proven ability to take responsibility for all project phases and deliver within tight deadlines under pressure.
* Exceptional project management skills, including proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
* Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies across the entire project lifecycle.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
* Background in the retail or another regulated industry is advantageous.
