Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Expert Leader to join our organization. This permanent position requires an individual with 8+ years of experience in technical information security roles and 2+ years in leadership positions.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the Information Security Manager in day-to-day operations, serving as a deputy and key decision-maker.
* Mentor and guide team members on complex security topics, fostering their growth and development.
* Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving critical technical security issues.
* Lead security enhancements by assessing risks, trends, and new technologies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
* Collaborate with IT teams to implement technical security best practices, promoting a secure environment.
* Implement and maintain robust security controls across cloud, network, access, and other security areas, guaranteeing compliance and optimal security.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or a related field.
* 8+ years of experience in technical information security roles, including experience in security management, risk assessment, and incident response.
* 2+ years of experience in leadership positions, with a proven track record of mentoring and guiding teams.
* Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards, such as NIST, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
