IT Support Engineer - Wexford (BBBH3133) Wexford, Republic of Ireland
Overview of Role
We are currently seeking an IT Support Engineer for our client based in Wexford. This role involves hybrid working (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) from Monday to Friday. It is initially a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. You will handle incidents and service requests aligned with the ITIL framework, supporting users including staff, board members, contractors, and partners to ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Manage incidents and service requests according to ITIL standards.
* Resolve problems reported by various users and confirm resolution.
* Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
* Prioritize and escalate issues as necessary, managing time effectively.
* Handle a high volume of calls within SLA guidelines.
* Manage the lifecycle of service requests and escalate to second-line support when needed.
* Develop and implement best practices.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
* Experience with ITIL-compliant Service Desk tools.
* Proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Server, and web server environments.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical language.
* Team player with good time management and prioritization skills.
* Experience managing high call volumes and meeting SLAs.
* Ability to handle the full lifecycle of service requests.

Qualifications:
* Relevant IT Certifications.
* UK/EU Citizenship or Stamp 4 visa is essential.
* Fluency in English is required.
