Overview
An established three-partner chartered accountancy practice based in North County Dublin is seeking a Part-Qualified Accountant to join its Accounts Department. The firm has been providing professional accountancy and business advisory services for over 30 years to a broad range of clients across various industries. The office is accessible from Dublin city and surrounding areas, located less than 10 minutes from the M50.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers to review stage.
* Reconciliation of balance sheet items including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
* Posting journals and applying a solid understanding of accounting principles.
* Assistance with management account preparation.
* Preparation of statutory financial statements within agreed deadlines and firm procedures.
* Support with year-end closeout and journal entries.
* Preparation of corporation tax returns.
* Liaising with clients by phone and email.
* Assisting managers with special client assignments.
Candidate Requirements
* Part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent).
* Minimum 2+ years’ general accounting practice experience.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in accounts preparation.

* CCH Accounts Production.
* Excel (intermediate to advanced).
