Supply Chain Manager Manufacturing Sector Location: Ireland South- East Salary: Competitive + Benefits A leading international manufacturer is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join its Senior Leadership Team.
This is a key strategic role with full responsibility for production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and shipping operations.
The successful candidate will lead the development of a responsive, cost-effective supply chain that supports commercial objectives and delivers consistently high service levels to customers.
Key Responsibilities: Lead production planning, raw material procurement, warehousing, and logistics operations.
Drive on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance through effective inventory and process management.
Balance production and financial targets with customer service priorities.
Monitor and manage KPIs including OTIF, schedule adherence, inventory levels, lead times, and capacity planning.
Lead and develop planning and warehousing teams, embedding continuous improvement and Lean principles.
Ensure full SAP integration for supply chain processes and master data management.
Collaborate closely with production and quality teams to optimise output and efficiency.
Support local and group-level S&OP processes, capacity planning, and reporting.
Identify and deliver supply chain improvement projects and cost-saving initiatives.
Candidate Profile: Degree qualified in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management (Masters preferred).
7+ years experience in supply chain leadership roles, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
Strong SAP ERP knowledge and understanding of supply chain optimisation.
Experienced in Lean Manufacturing with a focus on production planning.
Strong analytical skills with a results-driven, solutions-oriented approach.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within a regulated environment (e.g.
GMP) is an advantage.
This is a senior role offering the opportunity to shape supply chain strategy and performance within a global business.
Some international travel will be required.
