About the Role
We are expanding our services within the Orchard Community Care division and are seeking a Person in Charge (Social Care Leader) in Longford.
The role's purpose is to provide high standards of support to service users and ensure compliance with Government and Health Service Executive policies. The Manager will work autonomously and proactively.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with autism. The Manager will oversee existing services, ensuring compliance with Department of Health Regulations and HIQA Standards.

Essential Criteria
* Minimum of 3 years management or supervisory experience in health or social care
* Level 7 or higher qualification in Social or Health Care
* Level 6 Management qualification
* Proven experience managing residential services meeting quality and regulatory standards
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle in Ireland
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead on shift and participate in direct care following care plans
2. Assess individual needs and develop care plans
3. Implement care interventions and monitor outcomes
4. Train and orient new team members
5. Maintain accurate documentation
6. Implement quality improvement initiatives
7. Conduct audits and ensure standards compliance
8. Promote effective communication and teamwork
9. Participate in on-call support system
