Senior DevOps Engineer (Permanent)
We are engaging a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer on a permanent basis for a Dublin-based opportunity. The role requires deep, hands-on expertise in containerization, orchestration, and infrastructure automation to support the design, scaling, and optimization of cloud-based platforms and services.
Location:
Dublin (hybrid model with weekly on-site presence)
Key Responsibilities
* Design, build, and operate containerized application platforms using Docker and Kubernetes
* Administer, configure, and optimize virtual machine–based workloads across cloud environments
* Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and efficient application delivery
* Develop and maintain infrastructure automation solutions to ensure scalability, resilience, and repeatability
* Work closely with software engineering teams to standardize and streamline deployment and release processes
* Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure, platform, and deployment-related issues
* Produce and maintain technical documentation covering architectures, processes, and operational best practices
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration platforms
* Demonstrated expertise in provisioning, managing, and optimizing virtual machine workloads within cloud environments
* Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipeline architecture, tooling, and implementation patterns
* Proven experience using infrastructure automation and configuration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent technologies
* Solid knowledge of cloud networking concepts, including routing, load balancing, security groups, and DNS
* Extensive experience working with Linux/Unix-based operating systems in production environments
* Strong scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
