Integration Project Manager
Reports To: Programme Manager / Head of Transformation
Role Overview
The Integration Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all integration-related workstreams within a major IT transformation programme. This role ensures that systems, data, and business processes are seamlessly integrated across multiple platforms, vendors, and business units to support the successful delivery of the overall transformation outcomes.
You will work closely with architecture, development, testing, and business teams to manage complex dependencies, ensure interoperability, and maintain alignment with enterprise integration standards and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of integration workstreams within the transformation programme.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and dependency maps for all integration components.
* Manage and coordinate activities across multiple vendors, internal teams, and third‑party providers to ensure integrated delivery.
* Ensure that interfaces, APIs, middleware, and data exchange mechanisms are designed, developed, tested, and deployed to agreed standards.
* Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team to align integration design with target architecture and technology roadmap.
* Facilitate effective change and release management across interconnected systems.
* Track and report on project progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive resolution and escalation when needed.
* Ensure all integration solutions meet security, compliance, and data governance standards.
* Manage integration testing phases (system, SIT, UAT, performance) in coordination with test leads.
* Support cutover and post-go‑live integration stabilization activities.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships across IT, business units, and vendor teams.
* Integration project plan and delivery roadmap.
* Interface design and mapping documentation.
* FRT / FMS.
* NGAVL.
* NRD / Busconnects.
* Risk, issue, and dependency logs.
* Regular progress and governance reports.
* Integration test strategy and execution results.
* Post-implementation support plan and lessons learned.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience delivering integration projects as part of large-scale IT transformation or ERP/CRM/cloud migration programmes.
* Strong understanding of system integration architectures, including APIs, ESB, middleware, and data flows.
* Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional technical teams and multiple vendors.
* Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical domains.
* Experience managing end‑to‑end testing and deployment of integration components.
* Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance implications in integration projects.
* Experience with cloud integration platforms (e.g., Azure Integration Services, AWS, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi).
* Experience in enterprise‑scale ERP (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Dynamics) or CRM (Salesforce) integration.
* Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM, SAFe).
* Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines related to integration delivery.
