We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 -Medical ward for a hospital located in Tralee, Ireland.
Working Hours: Fixed Type/Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care, ensuring the highest professional standards are maintained Provide strong clinical and professional leadership within the department Oversee quality assurance and ensure high standards of clinical practice and efficient resource utilisation Manage staffing levels, support staff development, and promote continuous practice improvement Coordinate the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in line with BSHS standards Ensure compliance with safety protocols, policies, and best practices Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to improve patient outcomes and experience Requirements Be a Registered Nurse with active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), maintaining annual registration.
Hold a relevant postgraduate or specialist course (desirable).
Possess a Healthcare Management qualification (desirable).
Have a minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
Demonstrate at least 2 years' experience within the relevant specialty or a related area.
Show strong clinical, managerial, and administrative competence to effectively perform the role.
Have experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems (desirable).
Demonstrate preceptorship or mentoring experience (desirable).
