Postdoctoral Researcher - Advanced Nanopore Technology
We invite applications for a temporary post of Postdoctoral Research Fellow within the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
Our research project, FAST-Pore, is a pioneering effort in developing solid-state nanopore technologies for biomedical diagnostics. This innovative project aims to create cost-effective manufacturing processes for single and large-scale nanopore chips. Our team will develop novel detection systems and validate them in selected industrial applications.
The end goal of our project is to establish a spinout company to commercialize our research outcomes.
This position is suitable for early-stage researchers who are either recent PhD graduates or entering a new area of research. We seek individuals with expertise in materials science, engineering, or related fields.
