HRI Racecourses is recruiting for a highly motivated and organised Hospitality & Client Account Executive to join our professional team within the HRI Racecourses focusing on Fairyhouse Racecourse.
In this critical role, the Hospitality & Client Account Executive will be responsible for managing client relationships, handling inquiries and bookings, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences - with a particular focus on hospitality services.
This dynamic role requires excellent organisational skills, a proactive and customer-focused approach, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments to enhance customer satisfaction and support business growth.
Based at Fairyhouse Racecourse, the Hospitality & Client Account Executive will oversee all hospitality operations on-site.
The ideal candidate will bring energy, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering memorable race day experiences.Key Responsibilities:Client Management & Customer Service:Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and bookings, ensuring prompt and professional responses.Provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs, with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and retention.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.Manage and resolve customer concerns efficiently.Oversee Fairyhouse racecourse memberships, ensuring a high level of service and engagement. Sales:Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports, tracking performance metrics and identifying opportunities for growth.Collaborate closely with the Sales Executive and Commercial Team to support the achievement of revenue targets and drive sales performance.Identify and action opportunities for customer upselling, product enhancement or repeat purchase frequency through existing customer relationships.Participate in weekly sales meetings, contributing to the analysis of performance trends and the identification of strategies for improvement. Hospitality & Event Coordination:Collaborate with the Hospitality Team to develop, enhance, and refine race-day packages, ensuring high-quality offerings and consistent service standards.Oversee race day hospitality operations, ensuring smooth delivery, efficient service, and exceptional guest experiences.Liaise with Commercial Team & in conjunction with Catering Partners to develop, innovate and enhance raceday hospitality & customer products and packages.Coordinate with internal departments - including catering, operations, and event management - to ensure all aspects of hospitality are executed flawlessly and in line with expectations.Operational Coordination:Assess Client Needs:Continuously evaluate client needs and objectives, proactively offering tailored solutions that enhance their overall experience.Feedback Provision:Provide regular, insightful feedback to management regarding customer trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.Other Responsibilities: Act as Hospitality Liaison on each raceday at FairyhouseStrengthen sponsorship efforts by enhancing relationships with current sponsors and identifying new opportunities through networkingOther duties as may be required.Skills and Experience:A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role with experience of handling large volumes of bookingsA relevant third level qualification would be an advantageExperience and knowledge of Events & Sales is essentialA knowledge of the wider C&E Sector would be advantageousAbility to effectively communicate and build relationships with customersKnowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques, event management experience is also desirableKnowledge of the racing industry would be an advantage but is not essential.
