Job Description: Project Engineer (OSD) Location: Athlone, Co. Role Overview We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to join our team in Athlone. This role focuses on the design, installation, and commissioning of Oral Finished Product (OSD) manufacturing equipment and facilities. You will be a key player in executing large-scale capital projects, ensuring technical excellence and compliance within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Key Responsibilities Project Execution: Lead technical workstreams for OSD equipment (tableting, coating, granulation) from concept through to final handover. Technical Design: Develop and review User Requirement Specifications (URS), P&IDs, and detailed design layouts. Vendor Management: Liaise with equipment manufacturers and third-party contractors to ensure delivery on time and within budget. Commissioning & Qualification: Lead FAT/SAT activities and support the Validation team in executing IQ/OQ protocols. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all engineering activities adhere to EHS standards and global cGMP requirements. Required Qualifications & Experience Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Process preferred). Experience of project engineering experience within the Pharmaceutical sector. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) manufacturing processes and equipment. Regulatory: Experience working in a sterile or highly regulated cGMP environment.
