We have an excellent opening for a Fire Safety Manager who would be responsible for developing and overseeing fire safety strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and maintaining effective emergency preparedness across a complex operational environment.
The role leads fire prevention initiatives, supports operational safety, and engages with stakeholders to maintain high safety standards.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain fire safety policies, strategies, and emergency response procedures
Lead fire training programmes, awareness initiatives, and evacuation planning
Conduct fire drills, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions
Oversee compliance, audits, and inspection programmes for fire safety systems
Ensure all fire and life safety systems meet regulatory and industry standards
Maintain accurate documentation, certifications, and compliance records
Review infrastructure changes and projects for fire safety compliance
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders on safety matters
Monitor ongoing works impacting life safety systems and report risks
Provide regular reporting on fire safety performance and improvements
Requirements
Degree in fire safety or a related discipline
Extensive experience in fire safety management within complex environments
Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation and compliance frameworks
Proven experience in audits, inspections, and emergency planning
Ability to develop and deliver training programmes
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
High attention to detail with an analytical approach
Proficiency in relevant software tools and documentation systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
