Location of Post: There is 1 permanent WTE post available within the casting service for Galway University Hospitals. The post holder will be based in Merlin Park University Hospital with a requirement to provide a casting service cross site. The successful candidate may be required to work in any service area within the vicinity as the need arises. A panel for Plaster Technician posts may be formed for Galway University Hospitals from which current, future permanent and specified purpose vacancies of full time or part time duration may be filled.
Post Specific Related Information
* In line with the BOA/RCN(SOTN)AOT casting sub-committee recommendations the post holder should provide evidence of continuing education by way of 5 days of relevant study within 3 years.
* Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in plaster casting as relevant to the role.
