Overview of the Role

The Head of Brand Experience will be responsible for developing the brand experience strategy of the business that includes commercial accountability of a set revenue target, including specific responsibilities for forecasting, reporting, and driving profitability.

They will be accountable for fostering high value relationships with all clients assigned to them, including overall client satisfaction, management of expectations, team performance, work standards and attention to detail; ensuring the work is always on brand, on strategy, on time and within budget.

Their core role is to curate new business from both existing clients and new clients. The ideal candidate must showcase knowledge of deep expertise in brand experience and innovative campaign delivery. They must have contacts across the brand industry and demonstrate how they will bring these into the Agency.

The Head of Brand Experience will be expected to attend networking & industry events; representing the company as a thought leader and showcasing their deep knowledge of our clients and that they have the ability to have close relationships with who we are working with or even want to work with.

Research is key in this role and being ahead of client asks is what is expected; presenting idea's/strategies ahead of asks coming our way.

The Head of Brand Experience will strategically develop their client portfolio to deliver growth, identifying new opportunities for both the client and the business. This must be presented each quarter at a company update. Revenue targets will sit within their annual KPI's.

The Head Brand Experience will partner with the Creative, Studio and Post Production Leads to establish and monitor excellence in creative standards and world-class experiences.

All of the above must be backed by event agency experience and a knowledge of the Irish based events market and this includes suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Align the brand experience strategy with the agency's overall vision, actively contributing to agency-wide leadership and long-term planning.
* Balance immediate business objectives with a clear, future-oriented vision that drives sustainable growth and innovation.
* Responsible for the growth element for this side of the business & brining in new business through your sales strategies
* Lead out the annual budget/targets for the brand experience team and presenting back every month to ELT with a gap analysis & action plan
* Own and deliver clear commercial KPIs, including revenue growth, client retention rate, and margin improvement, with direct accountability for achieving annual targets
* Champion innovation and thought leadership by driving the creation of industry-leading brand experiences and representing the agency at key industry events, panels, and publications.
* Actively contribute to the agency's reputation as an industry authority by sharing insights, best practices, and pioneering new approaches to experiential marketing
* Oversee all client relationships on the brand experience team
* Nurture the priority clients at any given time
* Implement the Client Services Roadmap
* Cultivate client relationships through regular meetings, calls, and social occasions
* Set the standards by which all team members deliver their work - you will be the final stop for overall quality output of this department both on the ground and in pitches
* Develop creative briefs for other departments; Creative, Design, Production and Post production
* Line manage the directors/leads within the brand hub, including performance & annual reviews.
* Final sign off on large scale event budgets, showing knowledge of gaining profitability
* Take ownership of any extra client focused work that is asked of you (internal events, external events, etc)
* Apply agility and momentum to the work methods to drive efficiency, must be able to work multiple projects simultaneously
* Must be available to work outside of work hours when necessary as part of senior leadership & strategy implementation (not considered OT)
* Have a fluid approach to projects and be able to adapt when a client changes briefs
* Must be able to integrate themselves into the working practices that the company has in place and stick the processes involved
* Working on-site and supporting the team where necessary on-site

Who are we looking for?

* 12+ years in a senior agency/client services/brand experience role, with a proven track record managing €5M+ account list.
* A progressive view on the role of experience at a Brand level
* Highly adept in most of the following Experience Design, Brand Strategy, Event Creation and Design, Audience Planning.
* Have a proven track record of delivering standout creative work - Present portfolio and case studies as part of the interview process. (Min €350K budget)
* Showcase 3 x examples of how you lead and presented idea's/strategies ahead of asks coming your way - no brief given by client
* Showcase 3 x trending areas within the industry and where you have brought these into your work in the last 6 months
* Examples of how you have developed strategy elements through a business & how you implemented it in your area
* High commercial acumen, with the proven ability to manage pipelines & margins
* Must be able to develop complex event budgets large size events and deliver continued profitability
* Confident and experienced presenter, give examples of public events you have spoken at
* Provide impressive references/referees
* Must have drivers license and preferably have own car

* Loves problem solving and researching new and innovative solutions for clients
* Has a strong knowledge in production & when suggesting an idea are aware of how to put this together from scratch and what 3rd parties are needed
* Has great leadership qualities and enjoys developing their team members but also capable of performance managing when needed
* Highly creative and not afraid to bring fresh ideas to the table
* Someone who strives to exceed all expectations
* Passionate about new and dynamic event solutions and has a progressive view of the future of the industry
* Loves working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without getting to burnout
* Confident in their ability to sell an idea and enjoys presenting to clients
* Strong attention to detail and doesn't sweat the little details
* Highly motivated and brings a positive attitude to the workplace

Working hours

The successful applicant will generally work normal office hours 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 5pm on Fridays. On occasion, they may need to work extra hours, including evenings and weekends.
