Job Overview
Our four partner City Centre practice is offering a dynamic role within a busy and varied environment where the successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of the firm's activities. This role would suit a candidate with 3+ years of post qualified experience with professional qualifications ACCA, ACA or CPA. We offer a competitive remuneration package.
Responsibilities and Duties
· Work as part of a team to manage a portfolio of clients
· Carrying out audit and audit exempt assignments
· Preparing and reviewing financial statements for audit, audit exempt, sole trader & partnership clients
· Reviewing periodic VAT returns, management accounts, cash flows
· Involvement in Corporation and Income Tax assignments
· Preparing Company Office Returns
· Design and implement audit plans.
· Training of junior staff
The ideal candidate would
* Have completed the examinations of ACCA, ACA or CPA
* Possess good inter-personal and communication skills
* Possess good organisational skills with the ability to manage and delegate
* Strong attention to detail
* Good technical knowledge
* Have a working knowledge of some of the most popular accounting packages namely Relate, Bright, Sage, CCH Accounts Production, Thesaurus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €55,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
* Cork, County Cork: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
