Role: Junior / Accounts Assistant
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to support various teams within LBM.
The successful candidate would be assisting staff members at different levels of experience and expertise.
Ideally this will be someone who has gained experience in an accounting role and wishes to develop themselves further.
Studying for an accountancy qualification would be supported.
What will the role entail?
The role will require you to:
· Input data using various software packages, Sage, Excel, online Quickbooks etc.
· Set up bank payments
· Raise sales invoices
· Record receipts and reconciliation of cash/credit card receipts
· Prepare VAT returns
· Assist in periodic management accounts
· Assist in the preparation of year-end accounts
· Assist in preparing and monitoring cash flows and budgets
· Assist in putting together year-end accounts files
· Assist in managing tour accounts for clients
· Company secretarial matters, annual returns etc.
· Analysis of bank statements
Key Stakeholders
At LBM we expect everyone to work as a team and support each other in their priorities.
In particular you will be expected to work closely with our Senior and Semi-Senior Accountants.
How do you know if you are right for the role?
Experience
· The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of Irish accounting experience within accountancy practice, music industry specific is a bonus.
Education
· ATI Level 3 (or close to completion)
· Past experience using QuickBooks or QuickBooks Online and Sage accounts production is desirable
