Pharmacy O'Regan Tallaght are currently recruiting an Experienced Qualified Pharmacy Technician. Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy essential. 3 days per week, no late nights, Sunday's or bank holidays.
The Pharmacy Technician will work as part of a reliable team, supporting our Pharmacists dispensing prescriptions, delivering expert advice and working in a fast paced environment. With a customer led approach to ensure customers remain at the heart of everything we do.
Key responsibilities
* Be accurate with excellent attention to detail.
* Gather and prepare medication for dispensing under the supervision of the Pharmacist
* Process and tracking of claims
* Preparation of blister packs.
* Monitoring stock levels and ordering medicines.
* Reporting to and supporting the Pharmacist in a busy dispensary.
* Provide proactive reliable customers service and advice to customers on OTC when required.
The ideal candidate will:
* Pharmacy Technician experience in a busy Irish Pharmacy.
* Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
* Must be personable, reliable and punctual.
* Have excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Be organised and motivated
* Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
* Experience with McLernons an advantage
