Environmental Health & Safety Manager - WexfordMorgan McKinley are partnering with a leading multinational food manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced Environmental Health & Safety Manager for a flagship production facility in Wexford.This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly automated, large-scale manufacturing environment and play a key leadership role in driving EH&S strategy, regulatory compliance, sustainability initiatives, and safety culture across site operations.The RoleReporting directly to the Site Manager, the Environmental Health & Safety Manager will lead all aspects of Environmental, Health & Safety performance on site while supporting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.You will be responsible for developing and implementing EH&S systems, managing regulatory compliance, leading risk management activities, and driving a proactive safety-first culture across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop site-wide Environmental, Health & Safety strategy and programmesDrive a strong behavioural safety culture across all departmentsEnsure compliance with EPA, HSA and all relevant regulatory requirementsManage emissions, effluent, waste, recycling and environmental reportingLead incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actionsSupport production and maintenance teams in embedding EH&S best practiceManage risk assessments, business continuity planning and fire safety initiativesDrive continuous improvement projects focused on sustainability and energy reductionLead and maintain accreditation standards including ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related systemsLiaise with external stakeholders and regulatory bodiesMonitor EH&S KPIs and lead site performance improvementsRequirementsDegree qualified in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, Occupational Health or related disciplineMinimum 5 years’ experience in an EH&S leadership role within manufacturing, food, dairy, pharma or regulated industryStrong knowledge of EH&S management systems and regulatory complianceExperience managing audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiativesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to influence culture and drive engagement across teamsNEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent qualifications advantageousWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to join a market-leading manufacturing organisationStrategic leadership position with significant site impactStrong long-term career progression opportunitiesCompetitive salary and benefits packageCollaborative and high-performing environmentFor a confidential discussion or to learn more, please apply directly or contact Morgan McKinley today.josephbolster@morganmckinley.com
