The Role:
The Head of Finance and Corporate Services is a pivotal leadership role, working closely with the Principal as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
Responsible for finance, human resources, facilities, and risk management, the post leads and delivers the school's support services, aligning them with the School Development Plan and long-term strategic goals.
The role also offers the chance to provide strategic financial leadership for the school's enhancement programme, including input into the development of a state-of-the-art sports centre.
The post will oversee budgets, manage costs, and ensure long-term sustainability, delivering a facility that benefits both the school and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead on strategic planning in finance, HR, facilities management, and corporate services
* Manage budget, financial reporting, audits, and procurement
* Oversee HR for all non-teaching staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management
* Ensure effective facilities maintenance, health & safety compliance, and risk management
* Drive service improvements, change management, and value for money initiatives
The Person:
Proven experience in financial management, including budget preparation and management, financial monitoring, and reporting
Proven experience managing corporate services functions to include HR/Estates/Health & Safety
Strong strategic leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (internal & external)
A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent is desirable but not essential
