OverviewDirector - Head of Private Credit - Fund Services at JTC Group. The Head of Private Credit is responsible for developing JTC Group’s Institutional Client Services’ (ICS) private credit strategy, supporting jurisdictional and service line heads to drive revenue growth by evolving our go-to-market strategy and operating model for both new and existing clients. The role initially focuses on Europe and the US, with a global strategy to maximise opportunities and relationships across the private credit landscape. An important aspect of the role is developing a cadre of private credit SMEs within ICS, driving training and a culture of learning, and ensuring regulatory compliance and collaboration across functions with a focus on continuous improvement.Employment detailsEmployment type: PermanentDepartment: Fund ServicesDivision: Institutional Client ServicesWorkplace structure: HybridResponsibilitiesStrategically develop, implement and manage a suite of fund and loan administration services to private credit managers, predominantly focusing on Europe and the US, with opportunities in other markets.Lead the Private Credit Working Group, represent private credit as an asset class on the ICS Funds ExCo and attend relevant committees and meetings as necessary.Develop appropriate fee/cost models and competitive pricing to increase market share across the asset class.Set internal revenue targets and budgets for the private credit asset class and monitor performance against agreed margins.Monitor market developments and competitor activity in the private credit sector and disseminate relevant information internally.Represent JTC as the face of private credit, supporting cross-sell, brand recognition, and service/product enhancement.Operating ModelDevelop, implement and manage the delivery of JTC’s private credit fund and loan administration services.Manage existing technology vendors, including contract and fee negotiation.Maintain awareness of new technology and manage relationships with technology and other third-party providers to private credit managers (e.g., banks).Collaborate with ICS Operations to evolve the operating model for efficiencies and economies of scale as the asset class grows.Ensure the private credit asset class is represented in IT and operational projects.Support recruitment and training of private credit SMEs, fostering a culture of continuous development.Collaborate with Operations to optimise client onboarding processes where relevant.Brand EnhancementDevelop high-quality collateral for the private credit asset class, including web content, in collaboration with the BD and Sales teams.Engage with targets and intermediary firms to generate leads.Enhance JTC’s visibility and reputation through opportunities such as public speaking, articles and LinkedIn posts.Identify market opportunities to expand service offerings.Sales SupportSupport sales teams to understand the private credit market to identify opportunities and grow pipeline.Develop pricing models and assist in the negotiation of contract terms and pricing to help close deals.Support the ICS Intermediary Programme, developing relationships with relevant intermediaries to expand JTC’s network in private credit.Assist with proposal development and crafting tailored solutions according to client requirements with Marketing and Sales leads.Group-wide SupportEngage with group functions to support initiatives and programmes tailored to private credit (e.g., Commercial Office, Banking and Treasury, Tax, Law).Collaborate with the Group Development function to identify M&A opportunities.Identify potential strategic partnerships to complement JTC’s private credit strategy.Essential RequirementsThe ideal candidate will typically have 10–15 years’ experience within private credit.Deep technical expertise in private credit instruments, fund structures, waterfall models, and fee calculations.Knowledge of private credit platforms and systems, including fund accounting and loan administration software.Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support the professional development of junior staff.Commercial acumen, influence and negotiating skills.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionFinance and SalesDublin, County Dublin, Ireland
