Passage West Pharmacy is recruiting for an Over the Counter Sales Assistant.The role:The role of Over the Counter sales assistant includes but is not limited to the following key duties:Selling customers over-the-counter medicines for minor ailments and providing individualized advice.Selling non-medication items.Engaging in marketing and merchandising.Active engagement with stock management by ensuring accurate stock rotation, date checking and by placing regular orders.Ensuring store housekeeping is completed.Answering phone calls to take customer's orders.The candidate:The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and personal attributes:OTC Medicines course completed (preferable).Experienced in a retail pharmacy setting (essential).Full Irish drivers license (preferable).Strong customer focus.Ability to communicate effectively with team members and the public.Ability to work on own initiative.Detail orientated.Applicants may send all CV's and cover letters to Deadline for applications is 2nd December 2025.Job Type: Full-timeExpected hours: 41.25 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeCompany pensionEmployee discountOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
