Job Description
The IT Business Application Support Specialist manages the end-to-end M365 environment, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, and Power Platform. Responsibilities range from first-line support to managing complex integrations and collaborating with IT to develop PowerApps and Power Automations for MetroLink.
Principal Accountabilities
* Provide first-line support for M365 applications.
* Stay updated on new M365 developments and assess their impact on MetroLink.
* Manage Azure Active Directory groups.
* Coordinate with project managers to set up SSO and integrations.
* Discuss and communicate integration requirements with suppliers.
* Develop new applications within Power Platforms to support MetroLink's IT and workstreams.
* Monitor and assess the usage of SharePoint Intranet and Teams.
* Set up new SharePoint/Teams environments as needed.
* Lead troubleshooting for M365-related helpdesk incidents.
* Coordinate and delegate tasks with IT support team members.
* Continuously improve IT processes and support materials.
* Create and update a knowledge base for M365 support.
* Align M365 environment with security standards in collaboration with IT security.
* Identify vulnerabilities and work to mitigate them.
* Plan and report resourcing needs.
* Support onboarding of new IT support staff.
* Understand the IT needs of different workstreams.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Experience providing first-line support for M365 applications.
* Knowledge of M365 developments and their impacts.
* Experience managing Azure AD groups.
* Ability to coordinate SSO and integrations.
* Development skills in Power Platforms.
* Ability to monitor and optimize platform usage.
* Support experience for SharePoint and Teams environments.
* Technical troubleshooting skills.
* Team coordination and communication skills.
* Continuous process improvement mindset.
* Ability to create support documentation.
* Understanding of security standards and vulnerabilities.
* Planning and reporting skills.
* Support onboarding processes.
* Ability to understand diverse IT support needs.
* Willingness to perform additional tasks as required.
