The InstituteThe Economic and Social Research Institute (ESRI), founded in 1960, is located in Dublin's South Docklands area. Full details about the Institute, its organisation, work programmes and publications can be found at.Role SummaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join ESRI's Membership team. This small dynamic team manages a large portfolio of members across government, semi-state, and industry sectors. Our mission is to ensure that our Corporate Members remain at the forefront of independent economic and social policy research, staying well-informed on the latest policy changes. There are also excellent networking opportunities at ESRI seminars, events, breakfasts briefings, lunches and dinners throughout the year. If you're a highly organised individual and an excellent communicator (both verbal and written) and looking for a role in an organisation committed to creating a Better Ireland, we'd love to hear from you.The role will report to the Head of Membership who has overall responsibility for devising and implementing a strategic plan to develop and manage the ESRI membership.Key responsibilitiesMembership AdministrationCollaborate with the Head of Membership to manage and enhance member administration processes, ensuring accuracy in scheduling, reporting, and documentation including onboarding, and maintaining member details on the CRM system.Planning daily, weekly and monthly schedule of work.Allocating time effectively for recurring and ad hoc tasks.Liaise with the finance department regarding membership subscriptions and track monthly revenue.Membership Event ManagementPlan, administer, and organise member events, including setting up registration links, tracking registrations, and liaising with researchers on relevant events and publications.Membership Research and CommunicationServe as a point of contact for members and prospective members, ensuring a professional, timely, and informed response, facilitate meetings, and ensure timely communication of relevant events and publications.Create and update briefs on prospective members and businesses, staying abreast of social and economic challenges and opportunities.Membership Marketing and Social MediaDesign marketing materials and develop social media campaigns to promote the benefits of ESRI membership.Design marketing materials for member events.Develop and implement social media marketing campaigns to promote the benefits of ESRI membership.Membership Analysis & ReportingAnalyse member retention and engagement regularly, and work with the Head of Membership to identify membership initiatives.Ensure timely and relevant reporting of membership data.Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.Key Criteria – Qualifications, Experience and SkillsetEssential:A minimum of two years' relevant administration experience.Previous experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent organisational and planning skills with meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage work efficiently.Demonstrated ability to work independently on own initiative while communicating effectively with team members.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.Proficiency in written and spoken English.Desirable:Events management experience.Canva design experience.Proficiency with LinkedIn.Keen interest in the business world and an understanding of how social and economic issues affect different sectors.Ability to identify and suggest process improvements.LocationESRI, Whitaker Square, Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2. Applicants should note that staff have the option of working remotely from their home inIrelandon a 'blended' basis with a minimum requirement ofone day per week(or as business requires) based in the ESRI office. This arrangement is running on a pilot basis. The appointment will be on an open-ended basis, subject to a successful probationary period, at Executive Officer (Standard) level.
