As our business continues to grow, we are now seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accounts Assistant to join our busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual with strong organisational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
In this collaborative and supportive workplace, you will play a key role in managing day-to-day financial operations, supporting management with accurate data, and ensuring smooth financial processes across the company.

Key Responsibilities
• Process purchase invoices, sales invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and supplier reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end procedures.
• Manage accounts inbox, responding to queries from suppliers, customers and internal teams.
• Monitor outstanding balances and assist with credit control when required.
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with internal QA procedures.
• Assist the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed in a busy and dynamic environment.
Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years' experience in an account's role within a busy office or finance environment.
• Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisation and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of Sage (advantage).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Skills & Experience
• Accounts Technician qualification or working towards one (advantage but not required).
• Experience with accounting software, reconciliations, and finance administration.
• Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn.
