This is an exciting opportunity to lead a key commercial business unit at Dublin Airport, as Senior Commercial Concessions Manager. The portfolio includes over 20 concessions contracts across core products including car rental, bussing, currency exchange and other Dublin Airport Campus Concessions. The Senior Commercial Concessions Manager is a key role within the daa Commercial Department reporting into the Head of Commercial B2B. This role is integral to the performance of the Commercial Team managing a significant annual revenue portfolio. The key purpose of this role is to develop and lead a multi-year strategy for Commercial Concessions, owning, driving and optimising the commercial concessions business. The successful candidate will lead the Commercial Concessions team, fostering a high performance culture, build and maintain sustainable and meaningful working partnerships with our concessionaires to enhance passenger experience and grow income from our commercial concessions products. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrate innovation in approach and leadership skills to drive a high performing team. They will possess a results orientated mindset, to develop and deliver a new concessions strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Commercial Manager to Lead the Commercial Concessions Portfolio and be a key member high performing commercial team. Develop and lead a multi-year strategy for Commercial Concessions ensuring the team delivers budget, growth, and key project milestones. Manage the budget for Commercial Concessions and deliver to commercial targets. Drive future growth by managing the performance of existing products and innovating on new revenue streams in response to changing passenger demands. Develop, influence and maintain business relationship with over 20 large concessionaires, ensuring effective engagement and performance management to deliver quality products and a great passenger experience across Dublin Airport. Develop and implement contract management structures and process to ensure the efficient operation and performance of concessions contracts at Dublin Airport. Run largescale, competitive tender processes for contract renewals and new opportunities designing optimal packages for the market to deliver optimal value for Dublin Airport (From pre-tender engagement to contract negotiation). Ensure the successful delivery of daa Capital Infrastructure projects relating to concessions liaising with internal teams to meet key project milestones. Lead a high performing, motivated team fostering retention by supporting development through career planning and coaching and ensuring appropriate team structures and supports are in place. Partner with key internal stakeholders (Procurement, Infrastructure, Legal, Finance etc) to support the needs of the business and where appropriate challenge the status quo to achieve commercial objectives. Present monthly/quarterly on the financial performance, product performance, strategy implementation and future plans including Executive & Board updates. Establish a strong working relationship with the Senior Food & Beverage Concessions Manager to collectively deliver on the overall Commercial B2B objectives. Represent Commercial Concessions in future strategy planning with the wider daa group, ensuring appropriate space and facilities to grow concessions products. Ensure alignment with the daa strategy. Champion the future of the business with a tireless ambition to deliver a great passenger experience and increased revenues for Dublin Airport. Experience A minimum of five years post graduate experience in a relevant field is essential Extensive knowledge of a similar scale concession business is highly desirable but not essential. Skills Commercially driven with strong business acumen. Proven project management skills and experience. Highly organised, strong communicator with excellent presentation skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills capable of dealing with colleagues and customers at every level. Excellent interpersonal skillsconfident in establishing and maintaining strong relationships at all organisation levels. Proven Account / Relationship Management experience.
