Key Responsibilities
Job responsibilities include:
* Efficiency - Ensuring the efficient running of our busy Service & Garage Locations
* Workflows - Managing workflow, work in progress, ensuring that operational & growth targets are achieved
* Reporting – Managing and reporting on technician productivity and efficiency
* Customer Service & Scheduling – Plan and schedule work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability
across all locations.
* Technical Support & Estimates – Assist technicians with diagnostics, provide servicing/repair estimates, and set job timescales.
* Workshop Coordination – Ensure the correct parts are ordered, warranty standards are met, and servicing work is completed correctly and on time.
* Record Keeping & Reporting – Accurately record technician hours and write technical reports and recommendations.
* Collaboration – Work closely with senior management to ensure company objectives are achieved.
* Fleet Utilization – limit downtime as much as possible, utilize all assets as much as possible.
* Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure all work meets safety standards and company guidelines.
* Other Duties – Assist the Service Manager/Operations Manager with additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Skills
Essential Qualifications
Relevant qualification or experience will suffice.
Desirable Qualification:
Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Motor Mechanics, or equivalent.
Knowledge
Preparing vehicles for (NCT) &(CVRT) - Advanced knowledge of all
Proficient use and knowledge of software such as MS office.
Experience in scheduling, service coordination, or workshop management
Technical knowledge of vehicle servicing and repairs (preferred)
schedules
Computer literacy for scheduling, estimates, and reporting
Skills
Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Good written and verbal communications skills and have excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Ability to work within a team
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing
