**Job Description:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quarterly management accounts, financial reports for monthly board meetings, managing balances and breakdowns of various budgets, bank reconciliations, and financial compliance in terms of procedures and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preparation of quarterly management accounts
* Financial reports for monthly board meetings
* Managing balances and breakdowns of various budgets
* Bank reconciliations
* Financial compliance in terms of procedures and governance
* Understanding and setting up pension auto-enrolment
* Working knowledge of grants / funding model for Irish charities
* Working knowledge of SORP and Charities Regulator financial compliance
* Competent and confident in preparing for audits internal and external
* Supporting the CEO in terms of financial compliance
* Working knowledge of Sage Accounting
* Preparing projections and variance reports

Requirements:

* Fully qualified Accounts Technician
* Proven financial administration/accounts experience - minimum 2 years
* Understanding and/or experience in complex charity compliance (Charities Regulator)
* Strong computer and analytical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft and Sage accounting
* Payroll experience desirable
* Effective communicator in both verbal and written communications
* Structured, analytical, systematic, and independent way of working
* Ability to prioritise parallel tasks, identify potential risk and roadblocks and initiate appropriate counter measures
* Capable of overseeing audit processes (external auditors)

Benefits:

* Salary: €18K for 2.5 days with 18 hours deliverable weekly
* Location: South Co. Wexford
* Annual Leave: 8% of hours worked
