Job Title: Culinary Service Associate
Culinary service associates play a vital role in supporting the manager with food and beverage preparation, maintaining cash receipts and meal records.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu by following established recipes and presentation guidelines.
2. Verify transactions by preparing daily reports that ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies.
3. Demonstrate understanding of inclusive meal options by communicating effectively with customers and staff.
4. Maintain storage areas in an accurate and sanitary manner by adhering to company standards for food safety and handling.
5. Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies, and procedures while providing exceptional customer service.
6. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, especially knives, by following manufacturer instructions and performing routine maintenance tasks.
7. Prepare a variety of food items, beverages, and garnishes to meet customer expectations and preferences.
8. Assist in major cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and cooking and serving equipment by following established cleaning schedules and protocols.
9. Avoid cross-contamination and maintain a clean and organized work environment by adhering to all food safety regulations.
10. Coordinate with the manager daily to understand and accurately prepare menu items for the day.
11. Monitor and maintain food temperature requirements to ensure safe and healthy foodservice.
12. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, steam tables, and other equipment, by following established cleaning schedules and protocols.
13. Follow established procedures and standards for cleanliness to ensure a balanced and safe environment by performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, and ware washing.
14. Maintain garbage collection sites and kitchen floor areas in a neat and sanitary fashion by adhering to company standards for cleanliness and waste disposal.
15. Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other areas of the kitchen, to support the team and achieve business objectives.
