We are the sponsor of the Wicklow Senior Ladies' Gaelic Football Association team, showing our local support too.Your key responsibilities will cover:Regulatory ComplianceEnsure global trade compliance, maintain accurate documentation and SAP master data, and manage worldwide commodity code classification.Lead supplier origin determination, FTA qualifications, and Long-Term Supplier Declarations.Reduce compliance risk through audits, training, and process improvements.Logistics CoordinationManage end-to-end logistics and supply chain flows to ensure timely delivery.Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.Drive full EDI integration and data integrity across physical and digital flows.Cost ManagementControl import/export costs and negotiate competitive rates.Lead duty-saving initiatives with leadership.Risk ManagementIdentify and mitigate global trade risks, including geopolitical, supply, and logistics challenges.Stakeholder CommunicationMaintain clear communication with suppliers, customers, and logistics partners.LeadershipOversee all import/export operations and represent the company in supplier negotiations.Improve digital workflows to minimize manual SAP tasks.Continuous ImprovementImplement best practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs, staying updated on industry trends.About You:A combination of experience, skills and qualifications are necessary to succeed in the role:Must have at a minimum a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or any related field. It is desirable to possess or are in the process of obtaining a master's degree or MBA with specialisations in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or International MBA.Extensive experience in international trade and customs regulations is essential. Knowledge of International Trade Laws and Regulations.Demonstrable experience of the significant complexity needed to support a dual sourcing manufacturing strategy (particularly recent changes in EU: US trading relationship).Strategical thinking.Problem-Solving Skills.Organisational and Time Management Skills.Strong Communication Skills.
