Job Opportunity:
A Chemical Engineer is required to play a key role in the development and supply of active ingredients and final formulated products for innovative medicines at our manufacturing and R&D facilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Support process start-ups, campaigns, and turnarounds across plants ensuring adherence to yield, quality, and safety targets.
* Generate paper & electronic batch records and automated recipes for various steps in the manufacturing process.
* Lead investigations into process-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Identify and implement equipment and process improvements.
* Collaborate with other departments such as Safety, QA, Projects, and Process Chemistry to ensure smooth production operations.
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, sharing technical expertise, and guiding complex projects.
Ideal Qualifications:
* An honours degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in API production or related environment.
* Experience in process modelling/simulation and/or data analytics would be advantageous.
