Our Engineering team are looking for the right teammate to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site inAthenry.As aStaffProcess Engineer,you will use sound and proven engineering principles in the implementation, characterization, improvement, andqualification/validationof manufacturing processes for replicate manufacturing equipment used in the scale-up of new or existing products.
Where you come in:
You willbe responsible forimprovement, optimization, and implementationofmanufacturing process/assembly steps and operating proceduresfor replicate equipment and processes within a regulated quality system.
You will lead orsupport equipment/process qualificationsincluding protocol development and execution.
You will develop andmaintainproject timelines and provide updates and feedback to project leadership.
You willimplement problem solving skills and techniques toidentifypotential process risks, assess their impact developing and implementing mitigation plans.
You will plan and perform Design of Experiments (DOE) andutilizesix sigma methodologies to characterize, assess capabilities, anddetermineoptimalprocessing operating windows.
You will consult with vendors to produce equipment, materials, and/or parts that meet determined productspecifications
You will perform statistically robust and industry standard analysis of data, and present findings to technicalteams
You willtransfer process knowledgeand understanding to receiving site operations teams along with providing technical training for responsible processes.
You willassistin the development of project timelines and provide technical updates and feedback to projectleadership
You will consult with AME Process Engineering in scaling up equipment and processes from prototype to pilot to full scalemanufacturing
You will assume and performother duties as assigned.
What makes you successful:
Typically requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering,?Materials Science or equivalent with 8+ years related experience, preferred or an Master's degree and 5+years equivalentindustry experience or a PhD and 2+ years of experience.
Ability to run self-directed projects,maintaintimelines, stay organized, and balance multiple activities in a fast-pacedenvironment
Ability to deal withambiguity/uncertaintyand a willingness to try new/challenging things.
Proven ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
Familiar with experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation of experiments; JMP experience,Statgraphicsor Minitabpreferred
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and personal interactionskills
Knowledge of high reliability, high volume manufacturing processes and designs.
