Specialist Service Manager Positive Futures Charity Jobs NI (part of the Happy Jobs group) is delighted to be exclusively partnering with Positive Futures to recruit an experienced, strategic, and values-driven Specialist Service Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop high-quality Supported Living Services that make a genuine difference. About the Role: As a Specialist Service Manager, you will assume responsibility as the Registered Manager for the service and play a key leadership role in managing staff, budgets, and operational performance. You will champion high standards, compliance, and innovation across the service, while ensuring the voices and aspirations of the people supported remain central to everything you do. Key Responsibilities: Service Leadership: Deliver a high-quality, compliant Supported Living Service aligned with strategic goals, legislation, and sector standards. Team Management: Lead, supervise, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary staff team while promoting a person-centred ethos. Person-Centred Planning: Oversee assessments, develop personalised care and behaviour support plans, and ensure housing and staffing arrangements meet individual needs. Service Development: Innovate and plan for growth, collaborate with HSC Trusts and internal teams, and maintain robust risk and quality management systems. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: One of the following qualifications and required experience: QCF Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adults' Management) and NISCC registration (or eligibility) with 5 years' experience Professional Social Work qualification and NISCC registration (or eligibility) with 4 years' experience Registered Nurse (NMC) with 4 years' experience Allied Health Professional (HCPC) with 4 years' experience At least 3 years' operational management experience in health and social care, including staff supervision and resource oversight Minimum 3 years' experience implementing Positive Behaviour Support At least 1 year's experience with trauma-informed practice Full driving licence (Consideration will be given to those applicants unable to drive due to a disability) Desirable: Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, brain injuries or autism Skills: Strategic leadership and service planning Staff development and performance management Budget and resource oversight Partnership building and stakeholder engagement Why Join Positive Futures: Health & Wellbeing: Westfield Health Cash Plan, 24/7 GP and counselling access, enhanced maternity and sick pay (post-probation) Annual Leave: 36 days paid holiday, rising to 39 with service Pension: Contributory pension scheme (4% employer / 5% employee) Career Progression: Ongoing learning and development, accredited training, and clear leadership pathways Work Culture: A values-led, inclusive organisation focused on innovation, excellence, and person-first support Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time.
