Project Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our ECI Team. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of water and wastewater treatment projects across Ireland.
About the Job:
* The role involves assist in design development, collaboration with project managers, preparation of delivery documentation, managing sub-consultant submissions, and liaising with design teams and suppliers.
* Liaise with installation personnel, commissioning teams to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
1. Design development of water and wastewater treatment contracts from early design/concept stage through to detailed design stage and onto delivery/construction stage.
2. Collaborate with the project manager in the preparation of delivery documentation for client submissions, including technical submissions, managing sub-consultant submissions, preparing regulatory Health & Safety documentation, detailed design packages, tendering documentation, and construction design packages.
3. Liaise with design teams and suppliers, manage subcontractors, installation personnel, and commissioning teams to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Requirements:
* NFQ Level 7 degree in an Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Degree is preferable) and/or Science Discipline.
* Practical site experience desirable.
* Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage/design/site activities.
* Experience in the execution of water/wastewater engineering projects is desirable.
