An Rinn, Co. Phortláirge, Ireland | Posted on 10/07/2025 The IT Broadcast Technician is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting both broadcast and IT systems. This role blends technical expertise in IT infrastructure, audio/video signal flow and broadcast equipment to ensure seamless transmission, recording, and playback of content. The technician will work closely with both production and IT teams to configure, monitor, and repair systems, servers and networks. Responsibilities Local Windows file and database servers, PCs, Microsoft Office and related software admin MacOS Systems administration Administration of local domain which includes critical despatch and production systems Managing and monitoring SLA's and liaison with external IT infrastructure providers for new setups and support Liaison and oversight with external hardware and systems providers Maintaining / modifications to local databases and Intranet site Phone / PBX modifications/management Software licencing administration Requirements A relevant third level qualification in Computer Science or similar At least 2-3 years' experience working in a dedicated support environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Well-developed analytical and technical skills, with meticulous attention to detail Excellent organisational and planning skills with the ability to prioritise and manage a broad and varied workload Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders Customer focused and goal orientated Strong sense of ownership and ability to follow tasks through to completion A keen interest in the broadcast industry An ability to work independently and suggest improvements A willingness for continual self-development Benefits Pension Dynamic work environment where employee development is encouraged #J-18808-Ljbffr
