Payroll Specialist (Grade 5) Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of healthcare client in Dublin West, for a Grade 5 Payroll Specialist on a temporary full-time basis.
Initially, the contract will be for 3 months with the possibility of extension.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime hours (on-site only), with an immediate start.
The rate of pay is €50,000 pro rata, depending on experience and HSE Grade scale.

Responsibilities of Grade 5 Payroll Specialist: Oversee and process payroll for approximately 500 hospital staff Input data, run reports, and maintain payroll records using SAP payroll software Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing in line with HSE standards Respond to employee queries and resolve issues related to pay, leave, or deductions Assist with audit preparation and report generation as required Provide cover for team members during leave and support general payroll administration Requirements of Grade 5 Payroll Specialist: Essential: Previous payroll administration experience (public sector or healthcare preferred) Proficiency in SAP payroll systems Strong IT and Excel skills Excellent accuracy, organisation, and communication skills Ability to work on-site full-time (remote work is not available) Desirable: Experience working with HSE or within a hospital setting Knowledge of Irish payroll legislation and HR processes Benefits: Gain valuable public sector experience.
