We are seeking a professional to promote health, safety, and compliance across civil engineering projects.
About the Role
This full-time position requires a minimum of two years' experience in safety management and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor Irish H&S legislation, company policies, and client requirements to ensure compliance.
* Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
* Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training to employees and contractors.
* Investigate incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Support project managers in developing safe systems of work, including method statements and risk assessments.
* Maintain accurate safety records for regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Requirements:
* Diploma/Degree in Health & Safety or related discipline.
* NEBOSH/IOSH certification is essential.
* A minimum of 2–3 years' experience in construction site safety management.
* Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence teams.
