Business Development Consultant – Consulting & Digital Transformation

Are you a high-energy sales professional with a background in
contract recruitment

services-based consulting sales
? We are looking for a foundational team member to drive outbound growth for a specialist Technology and Change consultancy.
As part of a wider global group, they combine deep market insight with consulting expertise to help clients modernise and scale through digital transformation and IT strategy. This is a critical role focused on building their consulting pipeline from the ground up.
The Role
In this metrics-driven position, you will execute high-volume, targeted outbound sales to uncover new opportunities across priority sectors. You will focus on campaign themes such as
AI in the SDLC, Business Process Automation, and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Outreach & Engagement:
Execute structured cadences across phone, email, and LinkedIn to identify buyers and understand their pain points.
* Pipeline Creation:
Convert initial conversations into qualified opportunities based on urgency and fit.
* Campaign Support:
Build buyer maps, contact lists, and messaging frameworks to support new consulting propositions.
* Internal Collaboration:
Partner with recruitment consultants to turn referrals into qualified leads and manage early-stage associate mobilisation.
* Activity Tracking:
Maintain disciplined records of all outreach and pipeline updates within Salesforce/Accelo.

You have a proven track record in contract recruitment or selling people-led consulting services.
