IT Risk Specialist (GRC) : Munster My client, a leading Mulitnational, is seeking an Information Security Risk Specialist to support enterprise risk management activities across applications, clients, and regulatory initiatives.
This role partners closely with technology, business, and compliance teams to identify, assess, and manage information security risks while helping stakeholders understand and address control requirements.
Key Responsibilities Perform information security risk assessments for new and existing systems and initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks Clearly communicate risks, controls, and remediation options to technical and non-technical stakeholders Support remediation planning, risk acceptance, and ongoing risk tracking Maintain and enhance security policies, procedures, and risk management processes Contribute to continuous improvement of risk assessment tooling and methodologies Qualifications Solid understanding of information security & GRC principles, risk assessment practices, and regulatory expectations Working knowledge of common enterprise applications, operating systems, databases, and cloud technologies Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS, GLBA, NYDFS, privacy regulations) Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical risk into business terms Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment This is an amazing time to join my client as they expand their Irish operational hub.
