Job Description
My Client, a global engineering company and employer of choice based in Cork, is looking to recruit a Cost Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a progressive role that reports directly to the Finance Manager that offers a very competitive salary, full benefits and a hybrid working from home option.
Role of this position
1. Participate in the site Budgeting and Forecasting processes to drive key decisions
2. Involvement in the Month Close Process
3. Standard Costing and Variance Analysis
4. Ad Hoc Project Management & Implementation as required
5. Support various Teams by understanding the business needs to support their requirements
6. Ensuring Sox Compliance controls are efficient
JOB REQUIREMENTS
7. Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA)
8. 2 Years' experience in a Similar role in a Manufacturing environment
9. The Ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
10. SAP experience an advantage
11. ERP Experience required
