We operate in a range of sectors including stadiums, airports, and bespoke buildings, delivering high-quality new and refurbishment projects.About the Role:We are currently seeking a Procurement and Site Logistics Coordinator with a construction background to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their career in construction while working on a variety of exciting projects.Key Responsibilities:Daily Site Communication: Conduct morning calls with site managers to discuss manpower, material needs, and any potential issues or delays.Material Orders: Place, track, and follow up on material orders, ensuring timely delivery and resolving any outstanding orders.Supplier Liaison: Manage relationships with suppliers, handle negotiations to secure the best rates, and arrange future stock availability through block bookings.Hired Plant Tracking: Keep track of hired equipment and plant on site, ensuring efficient use and management.Cost Control: Update project costs, cross-check purchase orders against invoices, and resolve quantity or rate discrepancies with suppliers.Logistics Coordination: Monitor delivery schedules and lead times for large material orders to ensure site timelines are maintained.Inventory Management: Conduct stock takes on site, ensuring materials are accurately tracked and managed.Safety Compliance: Update staff safety records, verify plant and harness certifications, and manage the issuance of RAMS and training records from subcontractors.Site Clearing: Organise the removal and disposal of materials from sites at the completion of projects.Tool and Equipment Management: Handle tool testing, repair, and replacement schedules, ensuring all site equipment meets safety standards.Qualifications and Skills:Previous experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a construction or related industry.Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships.Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for updating costs and tracking orders.Knowledge of safety regulations and site compliance.Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer:Competitive salaryOpportunities for professional growth and career developmentA collaborative and supportive work environmentJob Type: Full-timePay: €36,000.00-€40,000.00 per yearSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: In person
