12 Month Initial Contract
We are working with a global technology leader seeking an IT Support Analyst to join their growing team in Ireland. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a high-performance engineering and corporate environment - ensuring seamless IT operations across hardware, software, and network systems.
As an IT Support Analyst, you will provide technical assistance to internal users both in person and remotely, ensuring systems and applications run efficiently. You’ll troubleshoot a wide range of hardware and software issues, support installations and configurations, and maintain high service standards through clear communication and timely resolution.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll have the chance to develop your technical problem‑solving skills while contributing to a supportive, team‑oriented workplace.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first‑ and second‑line technical support for users across hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
* Diagnose and resolve routine and moderately complex problems, escalating when necessary.
* Install, configure, and maintain workstations, printers, mobile devices, and related equipment.
* Support operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and enterprise applications including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, service requests, and resolutions.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve service quality and system reliability.
* Follow standard operating and escalation procedures, contributing to internal knowledge‑sharing and best practices.
* Participate in continuous learning to stay current with evolving IT tools and processes.
What You Bring
* At least 1 year of experience in IT Support, Engineering Support, or a related technical field.
* Strong troubleshooting skills in operating systems, software applications, and basic networking.
* Familiarity with hardware installation, configuration, and maintenance for PCs, laptops, and peripherals.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally.
* Strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and ability to follow structured procedures.
* A proactive, customer‑focused attitude and a willingness to take initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
* Experience with root cause analysis or advanced technical troubleshooting.
