Nightshift Supervisor Job Opportunity
Staffline is recruiting Nightshift Supervisors to oversee the operational plan and lead a team of PROs and Loaders ensuring productive and efficient performance across shifts.
* Plan and organize teams to meet operational requirements and achieve forecasted CPU and service levels against budget.
* Manage colleague rota's and control holiday requests to maximize shift efficiency.
* Plan contingencies to minimize business risk and ensure operational requirements are continually met.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Planning and Execution
Complete regular performance reports on shift progress daily.
SUPPORT Transport Operation when required, ensuring Drivers and vehicles comply with regulations.
Achieve high performance across all Warehouse areas through adherence to 5 S and Blue Book standards.
Promote consistency to ensure compliance and standards of quality, service, safety, and security are always met.
Monitor productivity levels through managing resource requirements and forecasted Warehouse CPU.
Team Management and Development
Actively minimize indirect costs and understand their impact on operations.
Manage and control mis-sorts, damages, and scanning compliance to achieve Client SLAs and KPIs.
Educate the team on safe working practices and ensure they follow appropriate SSOWs and RA's.
Ensure Drivers comply with legislative requirements and stay up-to-date with transport systems.
Monitor H&S standards and audit compliance, dealing with infringements and returns.
People Management
Set high standards in people aspects such as Recruitment & Onboarding, Induction, Attrition, Sickness & Absence, Employee Relations, Development, and Recognition.
Maintain accuracy of people information on internal systems.
Requirements:
* Good maths and English skills written and verbal.
* PC literate.
* IOSH desirable.
* Strong operational knowledge of the end-to-end process.
* Ability to work independently in pressurized environments with tight deadlines.
* Preferable experience in a Traffic office environment including knowledge of regulations.
* Demonstrate ability to understand and complete cost controls, data reports, MI, and KPI metrics.
* Experience working in a supervisory role with operational colleagues/Drivers.
* Confident in dealing with people issues and accurately reporting people data.
