Health and Safety Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will contribute to the coordination of health & safety across the organisation and support the development of policies to reduce potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver health & safety contracts and policies to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
* Conduct regular inspections of projects to identify potential hazards and report any action points.
* Organise daily workload and routes to ensure all projects within the business portfolio are visited within a set time period, maximising productivity and efficiency.
* Prepare and submit inspection reports to a high standard, detailing findings and recommendations for improvement.
* Ensure timely and accurate communication of inspection results to stakeholders, including Contracts Managers and Project Managers.
* Collaborate with internal teams to recommend prioritised actions for safety improvements and facilitate continuous learning and growth across the organisation.
Requirements:
* A strong background in health and safety within the civils construction sector, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
* Proven expertise in deep excavations and NEBOSH certification.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and easily with diverse groups of stakeholders.
* Strong numeracy and literacy skills, with confidence in the use of Microsoft Office.
* A full driving license is also essential.
