Our client, a reputable and growing company in Cork, is looking to recruit a Commercial Accountant to join their highly professional finance team.

The Commercial Accountant will be a key contributor to the finance function, providing high-quality financial insight and commercial support to senior leadership and operational teams.
The role is highly business-facing, with a strong emphasis on driving profitability, supporting strategic decision-making, and improving overall financial performance.
The Role Provide robust commercial and financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making Prepare, analyse, and present monthly management accounts and performance reports Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning activities Analyse margins, pricing models, cost structures, and operational efficiencies Deliver financial input into capital expenditure proposals and investment appraisals Act as a finance business partner to commercial and operational stakeholders Identify financial risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and controls Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting for senior management Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)Approximately 3–6+ years' post-qualification experience in a commercial finance role Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated business partnering experience Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling capability Background in manufacturing, energy, industrial, or capital-intensive environments is highly advantageous Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, operational setting Experience within regulated or capital-intensive industries Strong knowledge of cost accounting and margin analysis Exposure to ERP systems What's on Offer Competitive salary and benefits package A commercially influential role within a large and complex operation Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic initiatives Clear opportunities for career development and progression Hybrid working options, subject to role requirementsor more information on the role, contact Ray Brennan directly on ray@leesidetalent.ie or on 0830362091
